Hi, im currently doing a degree at University and suffer from schizophrenia. Just a question how do you cope with the workload when your on so much medication? Im in the first year managing but cant study as much as i would like to because i get tired so much. I am coping tho. I feel your gonna be my inspiration!!
Dear Krystie
Coping with the workload is hard when you’re on lots of meds and I’m on enough to sedate a rhino. I find the best way is to be very strict with myself when I am feeling up to working so that when I am not feeling so good I don’t feel so bad about letting it slip a bit. Also something I found useful is trying to find the most efficient way of studying so you can see if your uni has some study skills sessions that might be useful.
I wish you the best of luck with your study. Please feel free to drop me an email, I am always willing to help in whatever way I can.
