More mental health art
I know I’ve posted alot of art already but I’m still not well and struggling to write but I will soon I promise
This is how I often feel having bipolar disorder: things can be fine but its like waiting for a bomb to go off in your mind.
This is how I feel when I’m depressed. Stuck in the dark and surrounded by confusion
I’m not even going to explain this one
This is the two sides of the bipolar spectrum made using card collage
I hope you like them

Art always helps–at least for me–and the images reach people in ways words never will.
I’m so glad to have found your blog.

Sandy Sue thanks for your comments

Your art explains mental illness very well. The first image really nailed it for me. I liked the image of the bomb being ready to set off it. Don’t we all feel like we’re going to explode sometimes? The craziness in the background for me represented the chaos that always goes on in our minds. A very thought provoking piece. Love the bright colors too.
Thanks, I really like that one too. To me that one is the closest I have got to explaining how I feel even when i am well and between episodes.
